Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Sync (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Sync is a daily check-in app for couples. Partners rate their capacity, tag stressors, and see each other's results through a mutual reveal. The App is provided by Verto Studios ApS (“we”, “us”, “our”).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may delete your account at any time from the app Settings screen. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

• Sync offers a free 7-day trial. After the trial, a paid subscription is required for premium features.
• Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Pricing is displayed before purchase.
• One subscription covers both linked partners.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription through your device's app store settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their respective refund policies.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Send abusive, harassing, or threatening content through gratitude notes or any other feature
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to collect data about other users without their consent

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Verto Studios ApS and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Sync is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Verto Studios ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the App.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
