What We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email address — used for sign-in via one-time passcode (OTP). Stored in Supabase Auth. Not used for marketing without explicit opt-in.
- Display name — the name you set during onboarding. Visible to your partner only.
- Daily check-in data — your capacity score (1–10), stressor tags (work, kids, health, money, social, home), and optional gratitude notes. Stored in Supabase and shared only with your linked partner.
- Partner invitation code — a short code used to link two accounts. Deleted after pairing is complete.
- Profile photo — optional. Stored in Supabase Storage. Visible to your partner only.
- Subscription status — managed by Apple/Google via RevenueCat. We store a
has_premium flag in your profile to gate app features.
Information Collected Automatically
- Crash reports — anonymous, used to fix bugs.
- Usage analytics — anonymous interaction patterns to improve the app. No personal identifiers.
What We Don't Collect
- We do not collect your location
- We do not collect health or biometric data
- We do not sell or share personal data with third parties for advertising
- We do not track you across other apps or websites
- We do not use your check-in data to train AI models
Data Storage
- Account data (email, name, check-ins, gratitude notes) is stored in Supabase (hosted in the EU)
- Check-in data is accessible only to you and your linked partner
- Subscription data is managed by Apple App Store / Google Play via RevenueCat
- Profile photos are stored in Supabase Storage with access restricted to linked partners
Data Retention
- Your data is retained while your account is active
- You can delete your account and all associated data from the app Settings screen
- Deletion is permanent and irreversible

Your Rights
- Access your data — view all check-in history in the app
- Delete your data — use “Delete Account” in Settings; all data is permanently removed
- Export your data — available in app Settings (check-in history as CSV)
- Opt out of analytics — toggle off in app Settings
Children's Privacy
Sync is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
